French Coast to Canal du Midi

This is the only French monastery carved completely into rock. Left shows one of the chambers with the roof section now caved in. Top right you can see the 12th century Abbot's Seat with the more modest Prior's seat next to it. The view from the top of the monastery to the Rhone river is bottom right.
